Planned Outages - March 2012

In order to keep the network functioning and carry out necessary maintenance and upgrades, sometimes we need to interrupt the supply of power. However, our aim is to minimise the impact of any outage that may affect you.
Except in emergencies, if an upgrade or maintenance to the network requires us to interrupt supply, we will notify you at least five days before the planned outage.

The date and the estimated start and finish times of the planned outage will be advertised on the newspapers, radio advertisement, email, phone, fax, or flyer.

In the event of an emergency planned outage, we may not be in a position to notify you or update our planned outages information in time.

If you are without power and your street does not appear on the planned outage updates page, check our unplanned outages webpage or contact PNG Power on 325 6988 or 323 4774 or your nearest PNG Power office.

PNG Power advises consumers that there will be power interruptions to allow workmen to conduct urgent installations and maintenance work on distribution poles and lines.
