Expression of Interest for Motor Vehicle Refleeting Services
PNG Power currently operates a eet of around 480 vehicles including passenger, 4WD light commercial, heavy commercial trucks and crane trucks. Around half of the eet is well overdue for replacement and is in a poor state of repair. PNG Power Ltd have an urgent need to replace around 60 vehicles as soon as practical.
PNG Power Ltd has opted in the past to self –fund and operate the eet for commercial reasons is now investigating the operational and nancial eciencies that may be gained by transferring to a leasing; eet Management or similar arrangement and in doing so, increase the condition of the eet to better meet the company’s
needs; improve safety and increase nancial eciency.
PNG Power Ltd is now inviting suitable and interested institutions to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI)
to provide motor vehicle and crane trucks to its centres nationwide through the following options;
1) Outright Purchase
2) Operating Lease Vehicles
3) Combination of Option 1 & 2
4) Fleet Management
5) Long term Hires
