Requirements

Primary Objectives:
Reporting to the Regional Manager Customer Service Momase, this position is responsible to manage and take overall responsibility of PPL’s Customer Services Lae in delivering its products and services to customers and to support management’s revenue associated business needs. 

Minimum Qualifications:
This is a Management position expected to assume the overall responsibilities for managing PPL’s Lae Customer Service function. as such the position holder is expected to hold at least a graduate level qualification in Commerce, Business Studies, Management or Public Relations. A related technical qualification is also preferred. 

Minimum Experience:
The position holder must be able to demonstrate a successful track record in a management position preferably in
an energy or power sector. Specifically, the position holder should have sufficient experience to be able to demonstrate success in the following areas:

  • Managing and coordinating a high volume of customer service function
  • Coordinating functions in multiple geographical locations
  • Addressing customer complaints in a professional manner
  • Working as part of a Customer Services delivery and/or Retail Sales team 
  • Addressing and enhancing inadequate service standards through new methods of working or process and procedures improvements.
